Dunlop Motors was founded by RNLI volunteer, Leigh, nearly 10 years ago and has fast built a reputation as one of the most trusted, knowledgeable and friendly independent garages, not only in Haverfordwest but across Pembrokeshire too.

Having recently moved into new modern premises, the workshop now hosts some of the latest repair and diagnostic equipment along with seven work bays, including a dedicated MOT bay. With a team of five highly trained mechanics, Dunlop Motors provide every service you’d expect from a main dealer – but without the price tag. On average, you’ll find we’re around 50% cheaper and our expertise, attention to detail and customer service is second to none.

As a family-run business, we really care about your vehicle and the level of service we think you should expect whilst you have the inconvenience of your vehicle being off the road. And being an independent garage, our reputation really matters, so we’ll always do our utmost to give you the best combination of honest advice and top-quality workmanship. We don’t believe in sacrificing quality in any way just to complete a certain number of jobs in a day, but we will always promise to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible.

As a volunteer emergency worker himself, Leigh fully appreciates the work carried out by other emergency services, the NHS, the social care sector, and the Armed Forces so Dunlop Motors is proud to offer the Blue Light discount system. This gives a little extra help of 5% off garage servicing and repair costs to all cardholders.

Dunlop Motors is really easy to find; we’re just a few minutes from the main A4076 in Haverfordwest. You’ll receive a friendly welcome six days per week from Leigh’s dad on reception and he’ll also be your first point of contact in the office for arranging whatever you need including our complimentary vehicle collection and delivery service within a five-mile radius of the garage.

Relocation After Fire

In 2023, a huge fire destroyed our workshop. Everything was gone. We were fortunate in finding a new site close by, at our current location. We needed all new equipment for our 3D wheel alignment, diagnostics, and more. And upgraded our MOT bay so we can now provide Class 7 MOT tests as well as Class 4.
